Over the years our company has performed many projects in Kazakhstan. To give you an impression of what we are capable of, a list of our past experience per subject.

Offshore and nearshore civil structures
WBK has designed almost all offshore and nearshore civil structures for the Kashagan project:
- design of berms for Sunkar grounded drilling barge (1998-2004)
- participation in the OKIOC/Agip KCO supervision teams for the offshore works and concrete supplies (1998-now)
- design of roads and drainage system in Bautino (2004)
- redesign of quay wall in Bautino (2006)
- design management and supervision of the Bautino supply base civil works (1998)
- study on the metocean conditions (waves, water levels, ice) for the exploration stage (1997-2004) and support to the Agip KCO metocean group (2003-now)
- feasibility studies for offshore pipelines in the North Caspian (2002)
- design of artificial islands for exploration at Kashagan (A-island), Aktoty and Kairan, (2000-2002), for the Kasaghan A- and D-wellhead island and the D-production complex (2003-now)
- design and support during construction and extension of Karaganski Rock Load-out Facilities (2001, 2003, 2004) and design of Karaganski Marine Fuelling Station Facilities (2004-2007)
- feasibility study for the North Caspian Base near the Ural River (2003-2004)
- feasibility study for causeways to Aktoty and Kairan production locations (2004)
- feasibility study for an early production island at Kalamkas (2005)
- design of ice protection structures at A-island and the D-complex (2000-now)
- detailed design of the marine facilities of the North Caspian Base (2006-2007)

Oil and gas supporting infrastuctures
WBK is fully familiar with the particulars and difficulties of construction logistics (supply and transportation of concrete, limestone rock and hard rock) and knows the available logistic facilities in the region. Based on the good results of work performed and the resulting sound reputation of the company WBK has been servicing projects for other clients also:
